Yohei Ueda ("we", "us", or "our") built Phonics Sense (the "App") as a free application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration. No personal data — such as your name, email address, phone number, or location — is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Locally Stored Data

The App stores the following data locally on your device only using SharedPreferences:

• Learning progress (quiz scores, lesson completion counts)
• App preferences (voice type, display language, reading mode)
• Login streak and session statistics
• Spaced repetition scheduling data

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. You can delete this data at any time using the "Reset Learning Data" option in the App's Settings.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — Subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts to validate subscriptions. It does not receive personal information from us. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Google Firebase Analytics — Anonymous app usage analytics (screen views, game completions). No personally identifiable information is collected. See Firebase Privacy.
• Google AdMob — Optional reward advertisements for free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — Font loading over the internet.

We do not sell or share personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Since we do not collect any personal information, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

Internet Access

The App may use an internet connection for the following purposes:

• Loading Google Fonts for text display
• Processing subscription purchases via RevenueCat
• Sending anonymous analytics events to Firebase
• Loading and displaying reward advertisements via AdMob

No personal user data is transmitted during these processes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
